About Us
The Linda Fire Protection District proudly serves the communities of Linda, West Linda, Arboga and Plumas Lake. The district covers approximately 52 square miles with 3 fire stations, 16 pieces of equipment, 16 full time personnel and 20 paid-call personnel.

Residential burning in the area is governed by the Feather River Air Quality Management District which determines permissable burn days, materials and administers fines for noncompliance. Residential burning is allowed in the District by permit only. Burn permits can be purchased at Station 1 for five dollars and are valid for one year from date of purchase. Specific regulations are printed on the permits.
